Technology, Theology, and Coaching

People often ask me how I became a life coach, and my answer is that I didn't just "stumble upon" it... Instead, I believe God has provided me with a diverse background and varied life experiences that have been preparing me for this role for a long time. With a background in Information Technology, Theology, and Psychology, I have gained a range of skills and expertise that make me an effective Life Coach today.

My experience in Information Technology has taught me the value of problem-solving and troubleshooting, which I use to help my clients identify the root causes of their challenges and develop practical solutions to overcome them. For example, I once worked with a client who, as a politician, was struggling to balance work and family commitments. Using my problem-solving skills, we were able to create a schedule that allowed him to devote time to both family and work without feeling overwhelmed and restoring harmony in his home.

My background in Theology gives me a deep understanding of human nature and the spiritual aspects of life. As a result, I can provide clients with guidance and support that is grounded in faith and a sense of purpose. I believe that everyone has a unique purpose in the world, and I help my clients discover and align their personal values and beliefs with their goals and actions. For example, I once worked with a client who was struggling to find meaning on her job. With my understanding of theology, I helped her identify her gifts and core values and how they could be expressed at work. She became more productive with daily tasks, but eventually found lasting happiness by working in a new occupation.

My education in Counseling and Life Coaching equips me with the tools and techniques to help clients make meaningful changes in their lives. Whether it's using cognitive-behavioral therapy to address negative thought patterns or assisting clients in setting SMART (specific, measurable, achievable, relevant, and time-bound) goals, I customize my coaching approach to each client's unique needs. For example, I once worked with a client who was experiencing high levels of stress due to his job as a law enforcement official. Through the use of life coaching techniques, we were able to help him navigate through situations in a manner that allowed him to have peace of mind in his career.

In conclusion, having degrees in Information Technology, Christian Leadership, Theological Studies, and Counseling provides me with a diverse range of skills and expertise that make me an effective life coach. I am passionate about helping my clients achieve their full potential, whether they are struggling with work-life balance, seeking purpose and meaning, or striving to achieve a long-held goal. If you are looking for a life coach who can help you overcome challenges and achieve your goals, please don't hesitate to contact me to schedule a coaching session.
